Day 163 – Zero

I was thinking about leaving town, but then the sky opened up and it dumped. I could see the mountains and they were full of snow. Staying in town for another day felt like the right decision. In hiking a zero day is when you hike zero trail miles and this would be a weather induced zero for me. I will head out tomorrow, but snow hiking looks like it quickly became a part of this adventure. I found some other hikers in town and hung out with them, talking about how interesting this snow hiking could become.
