Day 140 – Medicine Bow

It was my last day in the desert and my last full day in Wyoming. It would be my last day carrying pounds of water and being beaten down on by the sun in the treeless expanse. Finally late in the day I entered the trees again in the medicine now national forest. Hunters were everywhere, with the background sound of running atvs present through the evening. For dinner was a ramen bomb. Consisting of a pack of ramen, tuna and instant mashed potatoes to makes poor and casserole. Luckily I found a perfect campspot under the trees and I passed out. Tomorrow I will finally hit the Colorado border. Wyoming is an interesting state. It had some of the most beautiful terrain as well as some of the most monotonous. But either way, the people were kind and generous, often giving me water.
