Today was not especially exciting, nor enjoyable but I knew it was coming. To end this stretch, was a long road walk. Today it was 28 Miles with 95% of it on hard pavement in the heat. I could keep a good pace, although it was not especially exciting. I walked by Palmer lake and multiple road intersections on the Loomis-Oroville Road. Mid day some bikers from Canada road by, and after converting the miles I had done to kilometers they were thoroughly impressed. I entered Oroville at the hottest part of the day and the thermometer at the grocery stated 100 degree. My feet were tired and so was I. I got a hotel room and slept the night away. Tomorrow should be more exciting.
